During the first hour of class you are required to complete the
Anatomy of a Magazine questionaire. (see handout)
Number of sections in the magazine
Number of pages (include inside covers)
Number of pages dedicated to TOC and Publication information
Number of pages dedicated to articles longer than one page
Number of pages dedicated to articles one or less page
Number of pages dedicated to full page or spread advertisements
Number of pages dedicated to multiple ads only
Number or articles/feature listed in the Table of Content
Number of columns per page (predominantly)
Margin sizes (add 1/4" for inside margins)
Gutter size (between the columns)
Information in the running footer
Information is in the running header
Noticeable elements used in the magazine
Create folder for project
Plan Styles
